Avitae, Naturally Caffeinated Purified Water That Tastes Like Nothing
Submitted by Connie on March 26, 2010 – 11:49 am
While I was at the Disney Social Media Mom’s Conference in February I noticed several people drinking what looked like bottled water, only I’ve never seen the brand before. The bottles were silver and shaped in a tall rounded, triangular shape. I asked around and found out it was Avitae (ah-vee-tay), a caffeinated water. At the time I didn’t think much of it, but shortly after I returned home I decided to try to break the diet soda habit. I immediately thought of it and contacted the company via Twitter and they graciously sent me a few bottles.
I’ve been drinking diet soda since the mid-70’s. Yes, that’s a really long time. The worst part is that diet soda is bad for me, I know that, but it’s the hardest thing to quit – quitting smoking was easier for me. This time I wanted to quit without the additional issues brought on by caffeine headaches. In the past I’ve tried caffeine pills and they upset my stomach. I don’t drink coffee or tea, so soda is the only way caffeine slips into my diet.
What is Avitae? Simply purified water and natural caffeine. It doesn’t have colors, calories, sweeteners, flavors, or artificial ingredients. How’s it taste? Like water. But, the caffeine, about the same amount as in a 12 oz soda, doesn’t irritate my stomach. My only complaint is that bottled water, any bottled water, is not environmentally-friendly because of the single-serving size. I’d love to see them go to a 2-liter or gallon bottle that’s more earth-friendly.
I’m now a fan, but sadly it’s not sold anywhere near me. I’ve signed up to be an Avitae Insider so they’ll let me know if it starts being carried by my local grocery stores. Until then, I’m still slugging down the diet soda.
Follow Avitae on Twitter or check out their website for more information and to find out if it’s available in your area.

ávitāe caffeinated water Reaches Agreements to Sell Product through Speedway/SuperAmerica and Kroger Stores
New avitae caffeinated water continues its meteoric rise by signing two of the countries’ most respected retailers to distribution agreements.
March 18, 2010, Dublin, OH – Vitality Distributing, the maker of ávitāe caffeinated water, has entered into agreements with two of the most highly respected retailers in the country, Speedway SuperAmerica and Kroger Stores.
ávitāe will provide avitae through all 1600 Speedway SuperAmerica Stores nationwide, a territory that stretches throughout the Midwest from West Virginia to Minnesota. Speedway, is widely regarded as one of the largest and most highly regarded convenience store chains in the country. Kroger is the country’s largest supermarket chain, with over 3500 stores through 30 states operates under 12 banner names. For the time being, avitae will be sold in 600 stores across four regions through all of Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, and parts of Illinois and Kentucky.
“Speedway and Kroger are true icons in the retail environment. Each year both companies are constantly recognized for their innovation and strength in their respective markets. For them to embrace ávitāe means so much to us and the brand.” says Brian Pitzer, Vitality Distributing CEO. “These last eight months have been amazing and for us to be where we are as quickly as we are is hopefully a sign that the country is ready to embrace ávitāe on a national level. We’ve learned so much, I can’t wait to see what we do with the lessons learned! I think we’ve just been truly blessed, from the wonderful distribution network to the once in a lifetime retailers, we just couldn’t ask for anything more.”
Regarding why Pitzer believes ávitāe has been embraced so quickly, he says “I just think so many of us are tired of putting wild ingredients in our bodies that we really have no idea what they are. Who cares if there are no calories, carbs, fats, whatever…if there’s 20 ingredients and you can’t pronounce any of them, that doesn’t sit well with me. ávitāe allows us to get the healthy hydration we want but with the caffeine kick we need.”

Ávitāe: caffeinated water

Do you hate the taste of coffee or are you trying to break a soda habit, but just can’t seem to do without the caffeine boost? Well we came across a product that will be right up your alley. Avitae is simply purified water with the added bonus of 45 mg of caffeine. I like the unique shape of the bottle and the choice of a shrink sleeve label; the futuristic look compliments the unique product. The product’s taste fulfills the expectations anyone would have for water: healthy, pure and refreshing. But it also gives you the energy boost you’d be missing with regular water.
This product has potential significance in the realm of exercise as well. Recent research has shown that taking in some caffeine before working out has benefits; this article explains that it actually reduces pain, causing you to push yourself a bit harder during your fitness routine. And perhaps it will eliminate my pain of seeing people with a heart-stopping energy drink in hand at the gym.
It’s me avitae. That’s ah-vee-tay.
I’m made of nothing more than purified water and natural caffeine. I don’t have colors, flavors or any of those not-found-in-nature ingredients. So, if you’ve been living in the wasteland between boring bottled water and man I know this diet soda is bad for me and leaves a funny aftertaste, then I might come as a welcome change.
I’m caffeinated water

Happy Thursday to everyone! This is just a quick note to let everyone know that we’ve changed our online retailer!! This is a great thing. We love that there are so many of you throughout the country that love avitae but can’t get it in your local stores yet. With that in mind, we have partnered with two online retailers – both doing distinctly different things!!
Typical online orders will go from Amazon to Thirstmonger.com – what a GREAT company. They are wonderful to work with and actually care. They will also allow us to stop losing money on shipments and get you better deals!!!
Food2dorm.com – Awesome new concept created by a great young entrepreneurer who is just a great guy and will do great things. The site is great for parents who have kids in school and want to get them food but are a little afraid to give cash – hmmm, wonder where most of our $$ went during college?? Either way, the students get healthy food, parents feel secure – awesome idea!
Let us know if you have questions and thanks again for all of your support!
